The research group of "Electrocatalysis and Electrochemical of Polymers" of the University Institute of Materials and the Department of Physical Chemistry of the University of Alicante has developed a new method that allows to manufacture active metallic structures in spectroscopy Raman or spectroscopies related (infrared, ultraviolet fluorescence-visible, etc.) increased by the surface by means of ablation laser with interference, that can be applied to different supports in a simple way and increases considerably the intensity of the signal of the analysed molecules (applicable in the detection of contaminants, sensors of biological molecules, identification of polymers, etc.). The research group is looking for companies interested in acquiring this technology for commercial exploitation.
